Spiral galaxy

Barred Spiral Galaxy

Barred spiral galaxy is also like spiral galaxy.

Many of its features and functions are found just like the Spiral Galaxy.

The only difference is that this galaxy has a bar of bright stars.

Which extends from the center of the galaxy to the disk.

This bar mainly consists of old red stars. Activity is rarely seen in this bar.

Elliptical Galaxy

The elliptical galaxy is known as its drawn shape of a solid circle.

There is no bulge in the center of this galaxy i.e. nucleous.

But still the center of this galaxy remains very bright

And the brightness on the edge of this Galaxy is not as much as the center of the Galaxy.

There is a huge blackhole in the center of this galaxy, scientists believe.

Big stars and dust are spread evenly in this galaxy.

Irregular galaxy

The shape of an irregular galaxy is not a fixed one.

Hence it is called Galaxy of uncertain size.

Dwarf galaxy

The Dwarf Galaxy is called that Galaxy,

What is the difference between galaxy and universe.

Like our Galaxy, many more galaxies exist in this universe.
